The learning Curve

So a Law School had a forced curve.  If one does not fall into the curve they are gone.  What that means is that the lower 5-10% of the class was asked (told) not return for the spring semester.  Husband was in the top 50% this turn around which means he is alright and will be in school this semester.  He is already hard at work and trying to improve his standings.  I have my fingers crossed and ready to help him any way that I can.

I don't think I was ever in a course that enforced a curve.  This is a whole new type of stress for me.  I know that not only does Hubby have to prove himself but also beat others for the best grades.  I think I would have a melt down very quickly.

You may noticed I have started "Picture Time" posts.  I am going to do them every other Weds.

~Reading Update~

So I finished listening to Catching Fire.  I must admit I really enjoyed it.  The story seemed slow to start but picked up nicely.  One thing that irks me are the second books in trilogies that cannot stand alone.  It annoys when books just stop in the middle of a scene.  I know it is suppose to draw me in to the third book, but really it just annoys the crap out of me.  The main story had enough momentum that the ending did not need to be so jagged.  Just saying.  I am now listening to the second Anita Blake book The Laughing Corpse and enjoying the character so much.
