Life has an upswing!

I am now happily employed.  It is awesome.  I am working at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.  I am the administration building receptionist.  I love it.  I have a few reports each morning to get my day started and by the afternoon it is mostly helping guests on the phone.  I am enjoying it.  The staff here is awesome to boot.  I feel right at home!  So happy and relieved to have found this.

Jason has had his first week of classes.  He says he likes all his professors, which makes me happy.  From what he tells me I think he is Hermione in some classes, but at this level that is what is needed.  He needs to make sure that professors remember him.  I am so proud of him.  He is at school from 7:30AM to 10 PM just to make sure he gets it all done.

So much more relaxed and I feel so much better.  I even went for a walk this morning and watched the leopard cubs play.  Did I mention that I love working at a zoo!

Jason is here!

Yep that is right I have my husband back.  I think it is awesome!  I went up to get him last weekend and visited some friends while I was in town.  I am missing all my friends but at the same time I am looking forward to making some more.

I have not heard from the group I interviewed with.  I am hoping that does not mean rejection but I don't know.  I would really like this job.  But I will just keep my fingers crossed.  That, of course, does not mean that I stopped looking.

I have not been sleeping well this week.  So I have been getting up early which is annoying.  This morning has been exercising and making "hard cider" bread.  Yay, it makes a good breakfast bread.  Now I am kinda hungry...

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350

3 Cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 bottle Hard cider of choice

Mix all dry ingredients.  Mix in cider.  Pour "dough" in loaf pan.

1/2 cup butter

Melt butter and pour over "dough" in the pan.

Bake until nice and golden.  About 15 min.
